Closed: Nominations for the OMCOS 22 Award

The OMCOS Award recognizes an early-career scientist who has made significant contributions to the fields of organometallic chemistry and organic synthesis.

Eligibility:

On the nomination deadline, candidates must be within 10 years of starting of their independent career. Exceptional personal circumstances may be considered.

Nomination guideline:

Self-nominations are not accepted. A nomination must include the following documents:
  • A brief curriculum vitae (max 2 pages).
  • A list of the nominee's 5 most important publication (citation + abstract).
  • A nomination letter.
  • Not more than two seconding letters.
All the documents listed above should be combined into a single PDF file (e.g. nominee name-OMCOS-22.pdf) and sent to the chairs Michinori Suginome (suginome@sbchem.kyoto-u.ac.jp) and Hideki Yorimitsu (yori@kuchem.kyoto-u.ac.jp), with a copy to OMCOS Secretary Chulbom Lee (chulbom@snu.ac.kr).

Award details:

The awardee will deliver an OMCOS Award Lecture in person at OMCOS-22. The award includes a cash prize of 5,000 USD and travel expenses.
