Invitation
We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 22nd IUPAC International Symposium on Organometallic Chemistry Directed towards Organic Synthesis (OMCOS-22) that will be held in Kyoto from September 1-5, 2025, at Hotel Granvia Kyoto, located within JR Kyoto Station Building Complex.
OMCOS brings together industrial and academic chemists from around the world to discuss the latest advances in metal-mediated and -catalyzed reactions, mechanistic insights into important reactions, new preparations and applications of organometallic reagents, as well as new and improved methods and technologies for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, agrochemicals, and materials using metals. The OMCOS-22 scientific program includes Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures, Short Oral Lectures, and OMCOS Award Lecture, and poster presentations.
Kyoto, a city with over 1200 years of history as Japan’s former capital, boasts 17 UNESCO World Heritage sites within a compact area. The city is Japan’s most popular and quintessential destination. Kyoto is easily accessible from many countries through Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX), with direct train or limousine bus connections (70-90 min). It is also accessible from most major Japanese cities by Shinkansen train. You can also arrive at Tokyo Narita or Haneda Airport and take a connecting flight to Osaka Itami Airport (ITM) then a limousine bus to Kyoto.
We look forward to welcoming you in Kyoto for this exciting event.
